The Pythia, also known as the Pythoness, was the high priestess and oracle of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi that represented wisdom, intuition, spiritual connection and the feminine aspect of the divine. The Pythia served as a bridge between the spiritual and the material worlds, and was revered as the oracle which the voice of the gods and spirits flowed through. The voice of the Pythia offered prophecy and wisdom to those who sought guidance.
