The majority of people live with the belief and fear that without government, overlords would take over and the world would be in pure chaos. What they fail to discern what's blatantly enmeshed into their existence is that the overlords did take over and called themselves government. The government is just the armed gang they are afraid would take over in the absence of government. Government convinced their slaves that it was righteous and necessary to dominate and control every aspect of their lives for their own good and the good of society. The people believed it to be legitimate and they even demand to be ruled over by overlords through the political process and consenting to their own enslavement by voting them into power.
