Collective Hypnosis: The Plight of Critical Thinking in a Conformist Society
We live in a world where the majority lack the mental fortitude for critical thinking and the psychological capacity for disillusionment, unsettling truths of the nature of reality and the human condition.
Where individuals have been hypnotized and conditioned to unquestioningly believe and accept whatever they are presented with, to obediently submit to authority, and to mindlessly conform to societal norms. They mistakenly perceive their own conditioned beliefs and perceptions as infallible truths.
This inability to cope with disillusionment stems from an existential crisis. Facing the possibility that their entire reality may be a fabricated illusion strikes at the core of their identity. They are essentially evading a dark night of the soul at all costs, the period of extreme darkness, the death and rebirth necessary in our evolution of consciousness.
When disillusionment infiltrates their minds, a storm brews within. It ignites neural pathways in the brain and unleashes chemicals tied to one's identity, defense mechanisms, emotional responses, and cognitive functions. They seek refuge in their safe haven, the soothing and comforting territory of ignorance.
Anyone bold enough to unveil the truth are met with rejection, resistance, ridicule, mockery, hostility, vacant stares, or even accusations of madness. Little do they know, their reaction is an automated defense mechanism ingrained in them through their conditioning. They are responding precisely as they have been programmed to do. They are puppets in a grand scheme dancing to the tune of their unseen puppeteers.
We are submerged in an ocean of individuals who are operating as programmed machines. You cannot awaken them from their hypnotic state. Interacting with these automatons becomes a maddening and futile task. It will lead to insanity. Their minds are completely barricaded, impervious to conscious expansion or understanding.
The only salvation of these tormented souls is within the depths of their own personal trials and tribulations. Only when confronted with the darkness of their own souls, will they begin to question the very fabric of their existence and the nature of reality.
Navigating in a society where conscious awareness and critical thinking is a rare commodity, and blind conformity reigns supreme is truly a wild ride. Stay close to your kind, for we need each other now more than ever in this mad, mad world.
